What is the Foundation Council?

The Foundation Council supports the work of OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center.

Ambulatory Care Center.

The Foundation raises funds to support community outreach programs and other projects at OSF Saint Anthony that benefit our patients, their families and the entire Rockford community.

Support from our friends in the community allows OSF Saint Anthony to provide many services, such as the Parish Nurse program, providing healthcare services to people in the underserved areas of the city; community education programs, such as diabetic cooking classes; and emergency prescription relief to patients who otherwise could not afford an important medication. Donations to the Foundation can be made by businesses, individuals and as a memorial to a loved one.

Richard Zumwalt
Foundation Executive Director

The Foundation is directed by a council of community leaders who are appointed to the board for a two-year term. The day-to-day operations of the Foundation are directed by Richard Zumwalt, CFRE, Executive Director, and a staff of two full-time and one part-time assistants.

Check Out Java City , New Gift Shop

Located on the first floor near the atrium, Java City features favorite espresso drinks and smoothies, in addition to ready-made sandwiches and salads, bottled beverages and bakery items.  Some seating is provided for customers.

Hours of operation for Java City are from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m., seven days a week.  The Gift Shop is open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays.

The remodeled Gift Shop and Java City are possible because of a very generous gift from the OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center Auxiliary.
