| New to Nursing…Graduating Soon? Just Graduated? OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center is now offering SPECIALIZED NURSING RESIDENCY programs for all graduate RNs chosen for a nursing career with us. Our nurse residency programs bridge the transition for the new graduate nurse into the role of the Professional Nurse Caregiver. Our unique program will prepare you to be competent and flexible with a strong theoretical and clinical base for your development resulting in quality patient care. If selected, you’ll join our Magnet nursing team in a full-time, fully benefited, paid residency consisting of clinical preparation, theory, and interactive experiences with ancillary departments. Saint Anthony Medical Center Nursing Residency participants benefit from additional classroom time to bolster knowledge of issues related to nursing and critical thinking skills, enhancing clinical skills essential to long-term success and providing exposure to highly-specialized clinical settings. You’ll gain vital experience while building confidence in your ability to practice independently, all in the setting of Saint Anthony’s Magnet facility, where staff become family.
